Growing up in Jamaica with my grandparents, I was surrounded by many fruit trees and that included the ripe red berries of the arabica tree with its anti-inflammatory properties. The aroma of my childhood is the scent of roasted coffee that my grandmother would make for my grandfather each morning. Sometimes I would be allowed to have a sip, but my usual morning beverage was peppermint tea brewed from herbs picked in our garden.
This is the inspiration for my Blue Mountain Coffee soap. At the core of this luxurious soap lies the renowned Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, known for its exceptional quality and rich, complex flavors. These premium coffee beans are finely ground and integrated into the soap's base, offering gentle exfoliation and imparting a rejuvenating glow to your skin.
The energizing scent of peppermint essential oil is combined with the warm aromas of vanilla bean essential oil and the grounded coffee.
This is a picturesque view of my childhood filled with warmth and love that I gladly share with you.
The base ingredients in most of my soaps and is the same here, are the skin loving oils of organic virgin olive oil, organic unrefined coconut oil and organic fair trade raw shea butter (made by a women run co-operative in Northern Ghana).
