About Us

Growing up under the warmth of Jamaica’s sun, playing under the cashew trees is where my grandmother, Enid Barnes, first introduced me to the healing power of plants. She showed me that plant medicine was a way of life.

Hi, I am Kareen Harmon and after dealing with various skin issues like adult acne (ugh) to severely dry skin, I took to my kitchen aka chemistry lab to create products using plant-based ingredients that could treat my issues. Many years have passed since I had those issues that birth Enid b. and I continue making products that solve issues and in the words of my customers, "have been a blessing". You will notice that the "b" in Enid is in lowercase and that is my way of saying that I am an extension of my grandmother and the next gen. to continue her life lessons.

Each Enid b. product is handcrafted using mostly organic and wildcrafted plant ingredients. I source some of my ingredients from local farms, like Bonton Farms in South Dallas for my goat's milk and grow some of the ingredients like herbs that I use in my products.  I am a natural problem solver so I enjoy doing research and testing to solve various skin issues.  Inspired by the generosity of nature and God, I combine various plant ingredients to create products like soaps, moisturizers, oil serums, and more that will hopefully help you be your fullest self and no longer hide parts of yourself away.

So whether you are looking for products for yourself or favors for your wedding, gifts for your staff, or an event that you are planning, know that by purchasing from Enid b. you are supporting a small business and you are getting products using real ingredients from nature that were made with care and love.

If you have any questions or want to inquire about custom or wholesale orders,  send me an email at info@enidb.com.

Thanks for visiting my website and I hope your order will be a blessing to you and those you are gifting it to.
